As most of you know, we have a 'To Do' list while we are here in Reno. We have checked off a good amount. Since San Diego was on the list, we decided to take advantage of the Thanksgiving holiday.
We flew on Thanksgiving Day....it was wonderful. We rented a place in Pacific Beach. Our duplex was a block from the beach.
We went to the zoo. WOW!!! It was awesome. We loved the polar bears, baboons, and gorillas the best.
We drove to La Jolla. We made a pit stop at Torrey Pines Golf Course...since they will host the US Open next year. A beautiful golf course on the water.
We drove to Coronado and walked around. We hit the Gaslamp District which reminded us of Austin's 4th and 6th Street.
It was a wonderful weekend. We had a great time and can't wait to go back. There is so much to do in that town.
