October Fun

We had a busy October! 

The girls loved their shirts from SuSu!

We took our annual pumpkin patch picture.

I had a great time making a bumble bee costume and mermaid costume for the girls this year. 

I love this picture of them. They crack me up!

We took fun walks. One day we walked around East End park. I took my camera and played around with it. 

Kyle started helping Kendall ride her bike without training wheels.

 We played some family golf. 

 We surprised Avery with lunch!

Avery and I ran in her pumpkin fun run. I was proud of her because she walked less this year. 

Kyle's work had a family picnic. We had a blast! We went on paddle boats. The girls got their face painted, had sack races, and jumped in bouncy houses. 

August and September Snapshots

I think this is the worst I have been about updating our blog. The girls are getting older and we are getting busier!

After trying dance this summer, the girls decided to try gymnastics. I still think Kendall will be my dancer. Avery has loved gymnastics from day one. She is getting much better at her splits and cartwheels. 

We went with our friends to see the HPD Mounted Patrol. The girls loved feeding the police horses...and so did I!

The Sunday before Avery started school we went to a Texans game. We were in the suites which was oh so fun! Food, drinks and and ice cream bar! Oh wait, we were suppose to be watching the game.

We made it to at UT game. The Horns lost but Kyle and I had fun at the game!

 Our Brownie troop had their first meeting! I am taking on a new role by being her leader!

First Day of School Pics

So I am so far behind that I am only going to update on a few things. I can't skip the first day of school for either of the girls.

We just had our 9 week conference with Avery's teacher. She is doing great. She is a huge fan of reading. We need to work on her details when writing. 

 Kendal worked hard on helping me make Avery's cookie. 

 Kyle brought home flowers for Avery. 

Kendall started her last year of preschool!

 She marched in like she owned the place. 

Day 3 & 4

Since I am so far behind, I am just going to post a few pictures and try and catch up!

We rode the trolley car and cable car.

 We enjoyed the playground and carousel downtown.

 We ALL at a burger at Super Duper Burgers.

Yes, Avery ate a burger. That is the main reason for this picture!

 We explored many science experiments at the Exploratorium. We could have stayed there all day. 

 We hit Pier 39!

 We love our Lefty's!

Muir Woods was breathtaking!!!! 

Kendall found a pay phone. She wasn't sure what it was but wanted to call home. 

 Sausalito was cute. 

I loved having my good camera on this trip! We found an amazing street that gave us this view of the bridge!

 We went to The Presidio the morning we headed back to Houston. It was the coldest day we had. The fog was pretty bad too. 

 The Palace of Fine Arts was beautiful.

 We hit a local park before heading to the airport.

We are all ready to go back and see this beautiful place again!
