I used SuSu's camera a few times when we first got to Austin. I just got around to emailing them to me. I wanted to share them because there are some fun stories.
Zilker Kite Festival
We went to the Kite Festival the first weekend we were back. It is the largest kite festival in the US. We were ready...we thought. Well it was a pretty windy day but nice. We found a nice spot to hang out. We then spotted our friends the Newmans. We chatted with them for a little bit before Avery got hit in the head with a kite. You can only guess what happens next-Avery couldn't stop freaking out. We then decided to find my friend, Adriana, and her family quickly before heading home. As long as Avery was in the stroller and moving we were fine. Any stopping brought on tears. It was fun while it lasted. On the way home. we realized the festival could be pretty freaky for someone so small who has never seen a kite before-that would be Avery.
We will try again next year.
The Whites New House
Keith and April bought a house out by Shoreline Church. We headed out there to see it. Avery and Jaxson had a wonderful time together. Jaxson did a great job of sharing his toys.
BEANS
We ate Pok-e-Jos one night with SuSu and Poppy. Avery decided she wanted to try some beans. We didn't think she would like them because they were spicy. As you can see she loved them.
