Seattle

This past weekend Kyle’s parents came up to watch the girls while we went to Seattle for Scott and Shannon’s wedding.

We flew out on Friday. Once we got there we met everyone at Moe’s for a few drinks. It was great to see everyone.

For dinner we grabbed a yummy pulled pork sandwich for some hole in the wall. Now Thomas enjoyed a Seattle Dog on our ride back to the hotel. It is a hot dog with cream cheese. He said it was amazing.

On Saturday, we got up and headed to the needle before meeting everyone.

The needle is a little over-rated. We didn’t get the best view because of the clouds. Kyle wasn’t too impressed since his floor at work is just as high.

We then met Greg and Amy, Jen and Kevin, Thomas and Lenae, and Jeff for a walk to Pike Market. Amy was our tour guide for the day!! Thank  you Amy!

It made me want to live in a city where I can walk to a market to pick up everything to make dinner.

We stopped off to take a few pictures.

(Dan and Erin-please notice the Wolf Pack support)

Kyle and I felt the need to be funny.

Yes we did walk by the original Starbucks.

Next stop was a local brewery for some lunch and football.

We did meet up with Marty and Becky.

We then headed to campus to tailgate with some locals.

Everyone is in a HUGE parking lot. The tailgate we went to was great! They had a Cajun food to eat. (they switch it up every week depending on who they are playing)

They had a shot board. I chose to stay away from that.

On Sunday, we took it easy in the morning before loading the bus to wedding.

We took a 20 minute ferry ride on a HUGE ferry. The two lower levels were for cars. The top level had indoor seating with a concession stand with everything from burgers to beer.

Being tourist, we went out on the deck and took pictures.

The wedding was at a lavender farm on the island where Shannon’s parents live.

As soon as you walked off the bus, the smell of lavender was everywhere~so romantic and beautiful.

The bride and groom looked amazing!!!!

We took the ferry back to Seattle for some dancing at Havana’s.

From my super long blog, you can tell we had a great time. We are so happy for Scott and Shannon. We were honored to be there to watch them get married. We love them both!
