Our weekend started off on Friday by going to the zoo with Cari and the boys.
It was a beautiful day to enjoy the zoo and a picnic lunch.
Everyone was excited!
We tried to get some sibling pictures.
After the zoo, we headed home for a little down time before hitting Greentree Elementary’s Fall Fest. WOW, it was crazy yet fun!
On Saturday, Avery had a birthday party for her gal pal, Cassidy. It was a gymnastic party. Avery did great for her first time in a gym.
On Sunday, we drove with the Greenleys to the Woodlands for the Children’s Festival. We did our best to be there right when they opened to beat the crowds.
Bob the Builder was on stage when we got there. Avery loved it!
Kendall had it easy.
Our next stop was kite making!
They actually worked!
We sat down to have a picnic in the grass but it started to rain.
We didn’t let the rain hold us back!
The kids got their face painted. It was a first for each of them.
They made hats, headbands, paper, pumpkin men and more.
We didn’t get to see all of the festival but it will be on our calendar for next year!
