This past weekend we went to the Greenley’s lake house outside of Burnet.
Kendall went swimming in the lake for the first time.
I found out that Jens loves to ‘drive’ the jet ski!
Anders loves it all!
Avery took her turn at doing cannonballs off the ‘diving board’.
The adults decided it was time for a boat ride.
My Avery was all smiles this year. It was a nice change from the fears and tears over the past few years.
The kids had a dinner cruise on our way to the beach.
Kendall ate more than the big kids. I was worried about how she would react to the lifejacket. It was not a problem.
Such sweet kids!
The lifejacket was a perfect float for Kendall. She loved floating on her back.
The next morning the big kids went fishing.
Avery was ready to try something new!
They didn’t have much luck so everyone went on the jet ski. Yes you read that right!
Avery went out with Kyle while Steve took the boys.
After everyone took naps, we headed back to the beach to play in the water.
On the way back, Anders and Jensen went skiing while Avery helped Steve drive.
They tried fishing again. Avery caught a catfish and sunfish.
It was wonderful weekend!
