Beach Day

We surprised the girls on Sunday morning by telling them we were headed to the beach for the day.

We met another family at Galveston State Park.

 This was a huge day for the girls. We ALL went out pretty far into the ocean. Avery had a blast until she got a face full of water. Kendall didn't want to leave the deep water. It was the farthest I have been out in a long time too.  

 Then the sky started to look like this. We started packing up and the wind changed directions. We were walking to the car when the hard cold rain hit. It was a crazy end to the beach. Getting out of town was hard because everyone was leaving Galveston. We stopping in League City at DQ for a dipped cone. It helped break up the drive home.
