Sharing Austin with the Wallace Family

Dan, Erin and Riley came to visit for a long weekend. We had a wonderful time showing them our home town. They were so wonderful to us in Reno. After driving home in traffic from the airport, we enjoyed some good food at Maudies. The heat and humidity was a big adjustment for them. On Thursday, we dropped Avery off at school and headed to the LBJ Library and the UT campus. After everyone took a rest, we all cooled off at Deep Eddy. On Friday, we hit the Capitol followed by a drive around downtown. The boys went out with our friends to see some night life. We weren't sure what to expect on Saturday. The plan like most UT fans was to tailgate and the boys hit the game. So, the boys went to Mt. Bonnell while the girls enjoyed a movie at Alamo Drafthouse.

Don't worry we hit all the good places for food! We had Rudy's, Amy's Ice Cream, Huts Hamburgers, Texadelphia, Maudie's, Taco Shack, and many more! We all need to go on a diet this week from all the food we ate.

We had a wonderful time with them. We have missed seeing them. We are so blessed to have them in our lives. We can't thank them enough for everything they did for us last year. We hope they enjoyed Austin. They sure do look good in burnt orange!!!!
