We had a low-key day. Our only plans were to see the Greenleys to exchange gifts and go to ‘Blue Jeans and Baby Jesus’ service at church. For dinner, we were going to Kevin and Karen’s house.
Kendall had her first cry after being told ‘NO!’
We had a wonderful dinner at the Stibora’s house.
We remembered to take a family picture.
While at Kevin and Karen’s, Avery remembered that we needed to get home before Santa came.
She kept telling us to hurry or Santa wouldn’t come.
We made a plate for Santa as soon as we got home.
She wanted to add some carrots for Rudolph, Dancer and Friddles (who knows) as well as some peanut butter crackers for Jack and any the other elves that were with Santa.
We said goodbye to Jack and told him we would see him next year.
And then we ran upstairs to go to bed! I think it was record time for getting into our pjs and brushing our teeth. She didn’t even want to say her bedtime prayer because she needed to hurry to sleep.
